- Disconnect battery ground cable, then remove air cleaner assembly.
- Remove coolant recovery tank and move aside.
- Rotate or lift belt tensioner arm, using a suitable tool to relieve tension from drive belt.

- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Remove air cleaner assembly.
- Raise and support vehicle.
- Place a suitable drain pan under vehicle and remove oil filter.
- Disconnect electrical connections from oil pressure sensor.
- Disconnect crank sensor wire from ignition module.
- Remove oil cooler adapter stud and set oil cooler aside.
- Disconnect starter electrical connections.
- Remove starter mounting bolts and starter.
- Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
