Component Replacement -> Body Control Module -> Installation -> Remote Keyless Entry Receiver -> Removal -> Transmitter

Removal
- Deflate tire, then remove retaining nut an allow transmitter to fall into tire.
- Gently bounce tire so transmitter falls to bottom of tire.
- Place tire on suitable tire changing machine and break both tire beads. Ensure transmitter remains at bottom of tire.
- Turn tire so valve hole is at bottom, then bounce tire so transmitter is near valve hole.
- Lift tire onto turntable and position valve hole 270° from mounting/dismounting head, Fig. .
- Lubricate tire, then remove first side of tire.
- Reach inside of tire and remove transmitter.
- Remove second side of tire.

The activation procedure must be performed after replacing or rotating tire and wheels, replacing tire pressure sensor or BCM.
- With Nissan sensor activation tool J-45295, or equivalent, pushed against the LF sensor, press and hold the activation tool button 5 seconds, Fig.
- With the ignition switch On, as the low tire pressure warning lamp blinks, Fig. , the respective sensor then must be initialized.
