- Connect the positive of a suitable 12 volt power source to terminal 1 of the motor, then connect the negative of the power source to terminal 2 of the motor connector. These must remain connected during the remaining test steps.
- Using a suitable jumper wire, connect in sequence the terminal 2 of the motor with terminal 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7. The motor should run for a short time then stop as each connection is made.
