- Remove mounting bolts, upper mounting brackets and condenser. Do not damage radiator and condenser fins during removal.

- Obtain the vehicle owners radio theft protection code prior to disconnecting the battery ground cable, if equipped.
- Disconnect the battery ground cable.
- Remove the fuel fill cap to release fuel tank pressure.
- On models less fuel filter service bolt, place a shop towel over the banjo bolt at top of fuel filter. Slowly loosen the banjo bolt one complete turn. When loosening the banjo bolt, use a backup wrench to hold the fuel filter in position.
