- Disconnect cooling fan electrical connector.
- Remove front grille attaching screws, then remove.
- Disconnect horn electrical connectors, then remove radiator stiffener strut to radiator support attaching bolt.
- Remove center support attaching bolts, then remove.
- Remove fan grille upper and lower bracket attaching bolts.
- Remove fan attaching bolt, then remove fans.
- Reverse to install.

- Use a suitable spanner wrench to hold clutch hub and remove retaining nut.
- Remove clutch plate using a suitable puller, then press out ball bearing.
- Reverse procedure to install. Measure endplay between clutch plate and pulley. Endplay should be .016-.040 inch. Add or remove shims as necessary to bring within specifications.

- Remove clip, then disconnect actuating rod.
- Depress and turn vacuum element to the left at same time, removing element.
- Reverse procedure to install.
FOOTWELL FLAPS
- Remove function select control unit as previously described.
- Remove vacuum line.
- Disconnect actuation rod from lever.
- Remove vacuum element from holder.
- Reverse procedure to install.
