  • Open expansion valve housing halfway. Disconnect hoses and pipes at injection valve. Remove expansion valve and close connections with plugs.
  • Reverse procedure to install. Coat O-rings with clean refrigerant oil prior to installation.
  • Torque refrigerant lines as follows:
    • Pressure hose to expansion valve, 11-13 ft. lbs.
    • Suction hose to expansion valve, 21-27 ft. lbs.
    • Evaporator pipe lines, 17-20 ft. lbs.
