It is not necessary to discharge A/C system to service the blower motor.
- On models equipped with 4.0L/6-242 engine, remove washer fluid bottle and position aside.
- On all models, disconnect blower motor electrical connector, then remove blower motor attaching screws.
- Remove blower motor and fan assembly.
- Remove blower fan from the motor shaft, then separate motor from mounting plate.
- Reverse procedure to install.

- Disconnect fan shroud and electric fan from radiator, then remove upper crossmember and bracket.
- Remove air cleaner and grille.
- Discharge A/C system, then disconnect A/C hoses from condenser and plug openings.
- Remove condenser from radiator by lifting radiator and moving toward engine, then lift condenser out of vehicle.
- Reverse procedure to install.
