- Drain coolant from engine and radiator, then disconnect heater hoses from heater core inlet and outlet.
- Remove two retaining clips and heater protector, Fig. .
- Remove three screws and three retaining clamps, Fig. .
- Pull heater core from case.
- Reverse procedure to install.

- Remove heater unit as outlined under "Heater Unit, Replace."

- Remove engine undercover, then air cleaner duct.
- Disconnect upper radiator hose from radiator.
- Remove cooling fan, disconnect wire and connector from motor, then remove motor.
