Radiator, Replace
Vehicle: 1995 Lexus SC400 4.0 V8 GAS
- Remove battery, then the engine undercover.
- Drain engine coolant into suitable container.
- Remove radiator reservoir tank as follows:
- Disconnect coolant level sensor electrical connector, then the reservoir hose from water inlet housing and reservoir hose from radiator.
- Remove reservoir tank bracket bolts, then the bracket.
- Remove reservoir tank to radiator bolt, then disconnect tank from bracket and remove tank.
- Disconnect upper radiator, lower radiator and transmission oil cooler hoses from radiator. Plug hose ends to prevent contamination.

- Reposition hose clamp at radiator outlet.
- Remove hose from radiator.
- Reposition hose clamp at thermostat housing.
- Remove hose from thermostat housing.
- Remove hose from vehicle.
