- Obtain the vehicle owners radio theft protection code prior to disconnecting the battery ground cable, if equipped.
- Remove the seat cushion.
- Remove the fuel pump floor service cover.
- Disconnect the fuel pump electrical connector.
- Start the engine and allow to idle until it stalls.
- Place the ignition switch in the Lock position.
- Disconnect the battery ground cable.
- Connect the fuel pump electrical connector.
- Install the fuel pump floor service cover.
- Install the rear seat cushion.
