- Obtain the vehicle owners radio theft protection code prior to disconnecting the battery ground cable, if equipped.
- From the luggage compartment, remove the luggage compartment floor mat and trim cover.
- Disconnect the fuel pump electrical connector, Figs. through .
- Start the engine and allow to idle until it stalls.
- Place the ignition switch in the Lock position.
- Disconnect the battery ground cable.
- Connect the fuel pump electrical connector.
- Install the luggage compartment trim cover and floor mat.
