- Remove engine under cover, Fig. .
- Drain engine coolant into suitable container.
- Remove inlet and air cleaner.
- Disconnect upper and lower radiator hoses from radiator.
- Disconnect outlet duct from Engine Control Module (ECM) box.
- Disconnect cooling fan wire from clamp, then the two cooling fan electrical connectors.

Heater Hose, Replace -> Bypass -> Inlet -> Outlet

- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Drain cooling system into a suitable container by loosening drain plug of radiator.
- Reposition hose clamp at heater core.
- Remove hose from heater core.
- Reposition hose clamp at coolant tube.
- Remove hose from coolant tube.
- Remove hose from vehicle.
- Reverse procedure to install.

- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Drain cooling system into a suitable container by loosening drain plug of radiator.
