- Remove cowl side trim plate.
- Remove righthand door scuff plate.
- Remove No. 2 instrument panel undercover.
- On ES 300 models, remove connector bracket set screws.
- On all models, disconnect electrical connectors from blower motor.
- Remove screws, then the blower motor.
- Reverse procedure to install.

Import Compressor Service -> Nippondenso Compressor -> Compressor Clutch, Replace

- Remove shaft nut or bolt, Fig. , with aid of spanner wrench.
- Remove pressure plate using pressure plate remover.
- Remove shims from shaft.
- Remove rotor (pulley) retaining snap ring using suitable snap ring pliers.
- Remove rotor (pulley) by gently tapping it with plastic hammer. Some compressors may require a jaw puller.
- Disconnect stator lead wires from compressor housing.
- Remove stator retaining snap ring using suitable snap ring pliers, then remove stator from compressor housing.

- Stop engine, then remove battery and bracket.
