BRAKE SERVICE PROCEDURES FOR 2001 Lexus GS300 AUTOMOBILES

Replacement
- Remove brake hose from caliper assembly, by removing union bolt and gaskets.
- Remove caliper bolts from torque plate, then the caliper.
- Remove brake pads and hardware as outlined in "Brake Pad Service."
- Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
- Use new gaskets on union bolt and tighten union bolt to specifications.
- Tighten caliper bolts to specifications.
- Fill reservoir, then bleed brakes and check for leaks.
