- Disconnect clamps and remove coolant hoses.
- Disconnect cable strap and electrical connector.
- Remove mounting bolt and pump.

- Disconnect wear sensor connector.
- Remove connector, and if required, speed sensor.
- Remove mounting bolts and caliper from steering knuckle or wheel carrier.
- Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
- Install new self-locking bolts and tighten to specifications.
- Only transparent (temperature resistance) wear sensors may be installed on rear axle.
- Front wear sensors' contacts must correspond to plug connectors.
- On models equipped with Lucas fixed calipers,wear sensors are installed on outer brake pad.
