If battery cable has been disconnected, the PCM must relearn a new operating strategy. Connect battery cable and run engine until operating temperature is reached. After engine warm-up, drive vehicle under various operating conditions until PCM has relearned new strategy.

- Pull blower motor resistor wire harness out of plenum, then disconnect wire from resistor.
