- Loosen screws from wheel pad, Fig. . Pull wheel pad out and disconnect air bag connector. Store air bag face up.
- Remove steering wheel retaining nut and disconnect connector, Fig. . Place scribe marks on steering wheel and shaft, then remove steering wheel using steering wheel- puller tool No. 0921331021, or equivalent.

- Remove battery, upper cover assembly and bracket.
- Remove cooling fan assembly.
- Remove radiator upper support attaching bolts, then the upper supports.
- Disconnect and cap liquid lines from condenser.
- Remove headlamp assemblies.
- Remove condenser attaching bolts.
- Lean radiator rearward and remove condenser.
- Reverse procedure to install.
