- Disconnect air duct for charge air cooler from throttle valve.
- Pivot ribbed belt tensioner in clockwise direction and remove ribbed belt from alternator pulley.

- Secure viscous clutch with 5 x 60mm bolt and remove mounting bolt for viscous clutch.

- Move lock carrier into service position.

- Completely remove intake air duct between air filter and throttle valve.
- Remove air induction ports between air filter housing and metering unit.
- Remove attachment screws from fan shroud and electric fan. Move fan to side.
