System Operation
The Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) minimizes wheel lock-up during heavy braking. The ABS monitors each wheel's speed and controls brake fluid pressure to each wheel independently, Figs. through . - Mark wheel to axle flange relationship for installation alignment, then remove wheel and tire assembly.
- Remove brake hose from caliper. Plug openings in caliper and brake hose.
