2003 Escalade, Suburban, Tahoe & Yukon
On some of these models equipped with 6.0L engine the air conditioning may stop cooling and blows warm air when the vehicle is idling for an extended period of time such as sitting in traffic.
This condition may be caused by inadequate airflow over the condenser.
To correct this condition install an auxiliary fan in front of the condenser radiator assembly as follows:

- Disconnect heater core pipe hose using quick connect connector removal tool No. J-43181, or equivalent.
- Disconnect heater core surge tank outlet hose using quick connect connector removal tool.
- Remove accumulator as outlined in "Accumulator, Replace."
- On models equipped with air conditioning, set air flow control to vent position.
- On all models, apply parking brake.
