Front
- Raise and support vehicle.
- Remove righthand sensor, downstream of TWC.
- Match mark front propeller shaft relative to flange of front axle gear and to flange of transfer case.
- Detach front propeller shaft from flange of front axle gear.
- Detach front propeller shaft from flange of transfer case.
- Remove propeller shaft from front axle gear.
- Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
- Torque flexible coupling to transfer case (M10) 108 in. lbs. (M12) 13 ft. lbs.
- Torque flexible coupling to front axle gear to (M10) 108 in. lbs. (M12) 13 ft. lbs.

Control Module
- Read out variant coding of TPMS (RDK) control module (N88). To do this connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and transfer data of TPMS (RDK) control module (N88) to STAR DIAGNOSIS.
- Move passenger seat into rearmost position.
- Remove floor mat and lift back floor covering in passenger foot well, Fig. .
- Remove impact absorber.
- Unscrew plastic nuts and remove step plate.
- Unlock electrical connector and unplug connector from TPMS (RDK) control module (N88).
- Unscrew bolt (6) and pull TPMS (RDK) control module (N88) out of retaining clamp.
