Alternator, Replace
Vehicle: 2005 MERCEDES-BENZ CL55 AMG 5.5 V8 GAS
- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Rotate belt tensioner arm counterclockwise, using a suitable tool to relieve tension from drive belt.
- Lock tensioner in release position, using a suitable drift or punch.
- Remove drive belt.
- Remove nut, then remove coolant expansion tank and move aside with coolant lines attached.
- Remove left and right air intake pipes to air filter.
- Drain coolant into a suitable container.
- Remove bolts from retainer tabs on fan shroud.
- Disconnect electrical connector for cooling fan.
- Disconnect coolant expans...
