- Prior to dismounting the tire from the wheel, note the following precautions:
- Position the bead breaking fixture 90° from the valve stem when separating the tire bead from the wheel.

The TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitor System) warns the driver when a significant loss, or gain of tire pressure occurs in any of the four tires and allows the driver to display the individual tire pressures and the locations on the DIC (Driver Information Center) display. The system uses the DIM (Dash Integrated Module), IPC (Instrument Panel Cluster), DIC, remote control door lock receiver, a radio frequency transmitting pressure sensor in each wheel assembly and the serial data circuit.
