Vehicle: 2006 MERCEDES-BENZ CL65 AMG 6.0 V12 GAS
- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Remove engine trim panel.
- Remove engine air intake ducts from air filter housing.
- Drain coolant into a suitable container.
- Remove coolant lines and bolts from coolant temperature control switch to radiator.
- Remove bolts from retaining tabs on fan shroud.
- Disconnect electrical connector from cooling fan.
- Disconnect and plug ATF cooler lines at radiator.
- Remove engine oil line brackets at bottom of fan shroud.
- Remove clamps and cooling fan with shroud at radiator.
- Suitably protect radiator and condenser, using a piece of sheet metal or plastic.

- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Raise and support vehicle.
- Remove fasteners and lower sound insulator panels.
- Disconnect right front HO2S electrical connectors, then press it out of brackets.
- Remove catalytic converter heat shield.
- Remove bolts from hose clamp to turbocharger.
- Remove bolts and exhaust system bracket from transmission.
- Remove bolt and bracket from catalytic converter at transmission.
- Separate flange connection, remove nuts at converter bracket, then lift out converter.
