Vehicle: 2006 MERCEDES-BENZ SLK280 3.0 V6 GAS
- Raise and support vehicle.
- Remove lower part of engine encapsulation.
- Remove rear left frame cross brace.
- Remove exhaust system downstream of connector.
- Unhook suspension rubbers of exhaust system.
- Detach exhaust shield from tunnel.
- Detach rear transverse bridge.
- Detach reinforcement brace.
- Loosen clamping nut of propeller shaft Loosen clamping nut approximately one turn, do not slide back rubber boot (the rubber boot slides with it).
- Loosen bolts of propeller shaft intermediate bearing.
- Remove rear engine mount.
