Vehicle: 2007 Buick Lacrosse CX 3.8 V6 GAS
The TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitor System) warns the driver when a significant loss, or gain of tire pressure occurs in any of the four tires and allows the driver to display the individual tire pressures and the locations on the DIC (Driver Information Center) display. The system uses the instrument panel cluster, DIC, RCDLR (Remote Control Door Lock Receive), keyless entry transmitter(s), rear window antenna grid, a RF (Radio Frequency) transmitting tire pressure sensor in each wheel and the serial data circuit to perform the system functions.

- Apply the Parking brake, then place the ignition switch in the On position.
- Cycle the headlamp switch from Off to Parking Lamp position 4 times within 4 seconds.
- The horn should chirp twice and the low tire pressure warning indicator should begin to flash indicating the system is in the learn mode.
- If GM tool No. J-46079 or equivalent is available, starting with the left front tire, hold the antenna of the tool No. J-46079 near the valve stem on the wheel, then press the activate button and wait for the horn to chirp.

Each tire pressure sensor has an internal power supply which has a service life of 10 years.
Removal
- Loosen the lug nuts.
- Raise and support vehicle with jack stands, then remove the wheel and tire assembly.
- Prior to dismounting the tire from the wheel, note the following precautions:
