- Drain coolant into a suitable container.
- Reposition hose clamp at radiator and remove hose.
- Reposition hose clamp at thermostat housing and remove hose.
- Remove hose from vehicle.

RADIATOR & HOSE REPLACEMENT PROCEDURES FOR 2008 Audi R8 AUTOMOBILES

Radiator, Replace -> Center -> Side
Vehicle: 2008 Audi R8 4.2 V8 GAS
Side
- Remove front vehicle underbody cover.
- Remove front bumper cover.
- On left side, remove bolts and remove air duct.
- On right side, disconnect electrical connector on outside air temperature sensor.
- Remove bolts and remove air duct.
- On both sides, remove coolant hoses from radiator.
- Drain cooling system into a suitable container.
- Remove bolts and secure condenser against falling down.
- Disconnect coolant fan electrical connectors and free them up.
- Remove bolts and remove bracket with radiator to side.
- Remove radiator from vehicle.
- Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
