- Disconnect battery ground cable. After removing battery ground cable wait 90 seconds to prevent air bag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
- Raise vehicle on suitable lift.
- Remove righthand wheel nuts and wheel.
- Remove clips securing cool air intake duct seal.
- Remove retainers securing lefthand wheel opening extension pad.
- Remove retainers securing righthand wheel opening extension pad.
- Remove nuts securing v-bank cover.
- Remove bolts from righthand fender apron seal.
- Remove bolts securing lefthand engine under cover.
- Remove bolts securing righthand engine under cover.
