Vehicle: 2008 Lexus GS450H 3.5 V6 ELECTRIC/GAS
- Disconnect battery ground cable. After removing battery ground cable wait 90 seconds to prevent air bag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
- Remove clips securing cool air intake duct seal.
- Remove clips from lefthand engine cover.
- Remove clips from righthand engine cover.
- Remove nuts securing v-bank cover.
- Disconnect connector and remove bolt and nut from relay block.
- Remove front console upper panel garnish using suitable tool.
- Remove front console upper panel assembly using suitable tool.
- Remove righthand instrument panel finish panel using suitable tool.

- Raise vehicle on suitable lift.
- Remove bolts securing lefthand engine under cover.
- Remove bolts securing righthand engine under cover.
- Remove clips securing cool air intake duct seal.
- Remove nuts securing v-bank cover.
- Discharge refrigerant using suitable tool.
- Remove air cleaner cap subassembly.
- Remove bolts and clamp air cleaner inlet assembly.
