Replace the TPMS sensor stem valve insert, union nut, seal and sealing washer prior to installing the TPMS sensor.
- Loosen the wheel lug nuts.
- Raise and support the vehicle with jack stands.
- Remove the wheel and tire assembly.
- When dismounting the tire from the rim, note the following:
- When using pressure paddles, remove the side of the tire opposite the valve stem from the rim first. Do not use the paddles in area (a) , Fig. .
- Position the tire changer mounting head near the tire valve so the tire iron can be placed approximately 30 degrees from the valve, Fig....
