- Disconnect battery ground cable from battery.
- Remove drive belt.
- Remove fuel injector sight shield.
- Remove engine mount strut bracket.
- Remove A/C liquid line clamp bolt from upper radiator support.
- Remove coolant recovery reservoir bolts.
- Remove reservoir tabs from upper radiator support, position reservoir out of way.
- Reposition battery positive junction block cable boot.
- Remove battery positive junction block cable to alternator nut.
- Remove battery positive junction block cable terminal from alternator stud.
- Disconnect engine wiring harness electrical connector from alternator.
