- Remove battery ground cable.
- Remove right air filter housing.
- Remove radiator grille.
- Remove radiator crossmember.
- Remove fan shroud.
- Attach guard plate or equivalent to protect radiator and condenser.
- Remove drive belt.
- Remove air pump and air pump bracket.
- Remove cable clamp from alternator.
- Remove cap and nut, disconnect alternator B+ terminal.
- Remove alternator field connector.
- Remove upper alternator mounting bolts and bracket.
- Remove bolt and guide pulley.
