CV AXLE SHAFT, Replace -> Front -> Rear
Vehicle: 2010 Audi R8 4.2 V8 GAS

Front

Place selector lever in position "N".
On models with air suspension, activate vehicle lifting mode.
On all models, raise and support vehicle.
Remove screws and remove rear noise insulation.
Remove noise insulation bracket.
Check whether there is a factory marking (paint mark) on front driveshaft and at driveshaft flange. If not, identify position of driveshaft constant velocity joint to driveshaft flange at front final drive with paint.
Remove bolts at front final drive/front driveshaft connection.
Remove bolts at transfer case/front driveshaft connection.

On models with air suspension, activate vehicle lifting mode.
