- Raise and support vehicle.
- Remove exhaust system.
- Remove propeller shaft coupler-to-transmission flange bolts, nuts and washers. Remove only propeller shaft coupler-to-transmission flange bolts. Do not remove coupler from propeller shaft.
- Remove propeller shaft coupler-to-differential flange bolts, nuts and washers. Remove only propeller shaft coupler-to-differential flange bolts. Do not remove coupler from propeller shaft.
- Support propeller shaft at support bearing.
- Remove bolts securing support bearing to vehicle underbody.
