Heater Hose, Replace -> Bypass -> Inlet -> Outlet

Inlet
- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Drain cooling system into a suitable container by loosening drain plug of radiator.
- Reposition hose clamp at heater core.
- Remove hose from heater core.
- Reposition hose clamp at water outlet.
- Remove hose from water outlet.
- Remove hose from vehicle.
- Reverse procedure to install.

- Remove No. 1 engine under cover.
- Drain engine coolant into a suitable container.
- Remove battery negative terminal.
- Remove engine cover sub-assembly.
- Remove cool air intake duct seal.
- Remove air cleaner cap sub-assembly.
- Remove No. 2 air cleaner inlet.
- Remove No. 1 air cleaner inlet.
- Disconnect radiator inlet hose from radiator assembly.
- Disconnect radiator outlet hose from radiator assembly.
- On models with automatic transmission, disconnect oil cooler inlet hose from radiator assembly.
