DRIVELINE, U-JOINT & CV AXLES REPLACEMENT PROCEDURES FOR 2010 Nissan 370Z AUTOMOBILES
Includes CV axle, universal joint, and driveline replacement, for domestic and imported 2010 Nissan 370Z cars and light trucks from 1990+.
CV AXLE SHAFT, Replace -> Front -> Rear
Vehicle: 2010 Nissan 370Z 3.7 V6 GAS
Front
- Place vehicle in neutral.
- Release parking brake.
- Raise and support vehicle and support it with safety stands in proper locations.
- Detach five rear side mounts of exhaust tube and main muffler.
- Lower exhaust tube and main muffler.
- Support them with suitable jack.
- Attach suitable tool to protect driveline.
- Place reference marks on flange yoke with final drive companion flange. Use paint for markings. Do not damage flange yoke and companion flange.
- Remove driveline bolts and nuts, then remove driveline from vehicle.
- Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
