Front
- Place vehicle in neutral.
- Release parking brake.
- Raise and support vehicle and support it with safety stands in proper locations.
- Remove engine undercover retainers.
- Place reference mark on driveline and transfer flange. Paint is recommended for match marks. Never damage rear driveline shaft differential flange.
- Remove bolts, nuts, and washers from differential flange.
- Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
- Torque wheel lug nuts to 97 ft. lbs.

- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Remove upper radiator support seal.
- Remove radiator grille.
- Remove front bumper cover.
- On models with air cooled transmission oil cooler, remove four bolts and oil cooler air duct.
- On models without air cooled transmission oil cooler, using a clip remover, remove four clips and disconnect righthand side deflector.
- On all models, using a clip remover, remove four clips and disconnect lefthand side deflector.
