- Remove tire and wheel assembly, then the brake caliper. Do not disconnect brake caliper hose or suspend caliper from hose.
- Remove driveshaft nut, using suitable tool to hold wheel hub in place.
- Loosen driveshaft in hub. If driveshaft does not come loose by hand, usea suitable hub puller. Do not attempt to loosen driveshaft by striking it with a hammer.

This lamp should light when the ignition is turned On. The lamp may light for as long as 30 seconds as a bulb and system inspection. If the lamp remains lit or lights while operating the vehicle, a fault condition in the anti-lock brake system is indicated. When the lamp is lit, turn ignition Off, then start the engine again. If the lamp still remains lit, the anti-lock brake system should be serviced. The brake system will remain functional, but without the anti-lock function.
