- Remove crossmember, then catalytic converter(s) and main muffler from retainer.
- Remove transmission heat shield and heat shield above propeller shaft.
- Loosen propeller shaft bolts at transmission, differential and center support.
- Install a suitable alignment tool on driveshaft and tighten plastic nuts.
- Ensure white dot on rear propeller shaft flange aligned with a black dot on differential flange. If not, scribe mark on propeller shaft and differential flanges prior to disassembly.
