REMOVAL
- Remove1/2 of brake fluid from reservoir.
- Raise and support front of vehicle.
- Remove wheel and tire assembly.
- Remove caliper-to-steering knuckle attaching bolts.
- Remove caliper and brake pads as an assembly by pulling lower end of caliper outward from steering knuckle, then sliding assembly away from braking disc.Suspend caliper with wire to avoid damaging brake hose.
- Remove outboard pad by prying between pad and caliper,Fig. . Support caliper to avoid damage to brake hose.
- Remove inboard pad by pulling away from caliper piston.
