REMOVAL
- Raise and properly support vehicle.
- Remove rear wheel and tire assembly, and ensure parking brake is released.
- Pump brake pedal, then manually pull caliper assembly toward outside of vehicle so that piston will retract.
- Drive brake pad retainer pin out of caliper,Fig. .
- Remove caliper mounting bolts,Fig. , then the caliper by lifting upward and away from disc. Support caliper with suitable wire.Do not allow caliper to hang by brake hose.
