- Remove starter attaching bolts, then the starter.

- Remove air distributor rail mounted on left and right sides of transmission.
- Separate driveshaft from differential flange.
- Disconnect solenoid electrical connectors.
- Remove wire clamp holding solenoid wire to body, then remove tie-wrap from starter.
