- Using a pair of suitable pliers, remove brake pad pin retainers.
- Drive pad retaining pins out with a suitable drift and hammer.
- For pads that are still serviceable, mark their original positions for assembly reference.
- Remove the pads using tool P86, Fig. .
- Position pistons back in caliper using tool P83, Fig. . Brake fluid will be forced back into the reservoir. To prevent overflowing, siphon some fluid from reservoir.
