Before removing, mark positions of all parts in relation to each other. Reinstall in same position otherwise imbalance will be excessive, bearings could be damaged causing rumbling noises. If droning noises occur when driving, unbolt front driveshaft from flange at front final drive, rotate one hole relative to flange and bolt on again. If droning noises are still audible, front driveshaft can be rotated one hole relative to flange a total of 5 times.
- Select position "N" with selector lever.
- Insert brake pedal depressor V.A.G 1869/2 or equivalent.

Position the tire changer head approximately 15 cm behind the valve stem of the sensor for the top tire bead to prevent damage to the sensor.
