Front and rear brake pad quality is different. Ensure proper quality is installed. Front pads are Galfer, while rear's are Textar.

  • Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheels.
  • Remove retainer and retainer pin.
  • Lift warning contact line and remove warning contacts from plates. Warning contact may be reused if there are no scrape marks on plastic part or line wear.
  • Remove some brake fluid from reservoir.
  • Set pads as far back as possible with suitable piston reset fixture.
  • Use suitable puller to remove pads.
  • Reverse procedure to install. Grease rear pad backing plates.
