REPLACE
- Remove brake shoes as described under "Drum Brakes."
- Disconnect brake line using line wrench 09751-36011, or equivalent. Then remove two wheel cylinder attaching bolts and wheel cylinder.
- Reverse procedure to install. Torque wheel cylinder bolts to 7 ft. lbs. Bleed brakes.

- Raise and support vehicle, then remove front wheels as necessary and front fender apron seal.
- Remove cotter pin, locknut cap and locknut from axle spline.
- Drain transmission fluid, then using a suitable puller, disconnect tie rod end from steering knuckle.
- Disconnect stabilizer bar link from lower control arm.
- Disconnect ball joint from steering knuckle.
- On models with constant velocity type inner joints, using paint or chalk, place match marks on driveshaft inner joint and side gear shaft or center driveshaft, then proceed as follows:
