- Remove brake shoes as described under "Drum Brakes."
- Disconnect brake line using line wrench 09751-36011, or equivalent. Then remove two wheel cylinder attaching bolts and wheel cylinder.
- Reverse procedure to install. Torque wheel cylinder bolts to 7 ft. lbs. Bleed brakes.

- Raise and support rear of vehicle them remove wheel and tire assembly.
- Remove brake drum. If brake drum cannot be removed easily, insert a suitable screwriver through hole in backing plate, then push adjuster lever away from adjuster and back of adjustment tension.

While checking the speed sensor diagnosis system, the ABS does not function and the brakes function as a standard brake system.
- Ensure the battery voltage is approximately 12 volts and the "ANTI-LOCK" warning light is functioning.
