- On all models, remove engine fan.
- Loosen radiator mounts and push radiator towards engine.
- Using suitable valve core remover, discharge A/C system pressure.
- Remove right grille section for access.
- Disconnect refrigerant lines from condenser and plug openings immediately.
- Disconnect condenser fan wiring.

- Disconnect wiring harness to compressor at connector on frame rail.
- Disconnect refrigerant lines at compressor, then plug lines and open ports.
- Remove 2 bolts securing adjusting bracket to top of compressor.
- Raise and support front of vehicle, then remove splash pan.
- Remove bolts (1-2) securing muffler assembly to compressor, loosen pivot bolt (3), Fig. , then remove drive belt.
- Remove pivot bolts and lower compressor from vehicle.
