CV AXLE SHAFT, Replace
Vehicle: 1991 Ford Festiva L 1.3 L4 GAS
- Raise and support vehicle.
- Drain transmission fluid from transaxle.
- Remove front wheel and tire assemblies.
- Use small cape chisel to carefully raise staked portion of front axle wheel hub retainer.
- While applying brakes, loosen but do not remove front axle wheel hub retainer.
- Remove ball joint clamp bolt and nut.
- Carefully pry down on front suspension lower arm to separate ball joint from front wheel knuckle.
- Separate driveshaft and joint from transaxle gradually. If driveshaft is yanked from transaxle, d...
