The Rear Wheel Anti-Lock (RWAL) system, Fig. , reduces the occurrence of rear wheel lockup during severe braking by regulating rear hydraulic line pressure. Pressure applied to the rear wheel brakes is regulated by a control valve assembly located under the master cylinder.
